The Z Association of New York, Z.A.N.Y. for short, was created in 1997 and is based in the Capital district, Albany area. We are a group of Datsun / Nissan Z Car enthusiasts. Starting with three origional members, and the idea of a fun club, Z.A.N.Y. has now grown to over sixty members state wide. We recently added a western N.Y. chapter called Z.C.C.R. (Z Car Club of Rochester)-ZANY West, based in Rochester N.Y. Our Mission is to provide a multitude of activities for our wide range of members, help preserve the legend that the Z Car has become, and most of all, HAVE FUN. So, if you'd like to join a club that is all that and more, please contact us as soon as possible ZANY Prez Chris Holmes' turbocharged 76 280Z waiting on the paddock at Shannonville Raceway. The Thousand Island Zed Car Club holds a Lapping day there every May. TIZCC is hosting the National Convention next year. Lapping, or track days are just one of the motorsports acitvities that ZANY gets involved in. We are looking to set up a track day at Limerock park in Connecticut next year. Some members participate in local SCCA autocrosses
